Dealing with this sort of reflection problem

Hi all.
I need to emboss some glass like in the attached but am finding that its showing far too much behind the main front surface, I assume its a reflection? Ive looked at using an OSL texture in the nodes to deal with it but that unfortunately just gets rids of too much else that's needed. Does anyone have any good suggestions as I know my client wont like it as its too distracting and I'm trying to get to a point where I don't have to retouch it out as it'll be a pain.
Thanks
Lang

Hi all. Ive been trying to get this little problem sorted and have only found that by lowering the Ray epsilon it then stops the reflection penetrating too far into the glass but this has an undesired effect on the overall glass look. Has anybody got any suggestions?? Would really appreciate any feedback ;)

The other way i also found was to add lots of roughness to the glass material but once again this doesn't look good.

Hi Pgatsky, if you want to post a scene file, I can take a look at it when I get in tomorrow.

Hi,
from your screenshot, it seems that you have applied the displaced material to the whole bottle, but in this way, it is applied also to the other side, in the internal thickness.
If yes, please make a polygon selection of the external glass polygons, in order to restrict the displacement on the front side only.

ciao Beppe

Thank you Beppe. I had already checked that too as I know what you mean and have made that mistake before ;-) It seems to be a reflection on the internal thickness aspect of the glass. As i mentioned I found that reducing the Ray epsilon helped but then it has the effect of taking away in other areas.

Hi jayroth. I've attached a scene file with most of the other non essential stuff deleted and keep size down. Have a look and let me know what you think or suggest.

Thanks again.
