Which c4d version is more stable with 2020?

Well, just asking for your advice...
I mainly use c4d R19.068 with octane 2020.1.5. And stability is not something pleasant - for example, i got simple cube with displacement (2k texture, nothing fancy) and a diffuse channel. If i, for example, put this texture into a gradient (i talk about gradient in DIFFUSE channel, displacement is not affected at all) and try to adjust smth, i got c4d hanging and then closing woth no errors or notifications.
When i tested the same setup on R20.057, it works perfectly.
And displacement isn't the only problem related to stability - almost all the time i have to kill c4 via task manager because it hangs on closing.
Of course (and i suppose i am not the only one here) i mainly use R19 because of plugin compatibility.
So, guys, which c4d version is more stable with octane? Really need to know.

1.4/1.5 is stable enough on me! Have you deleted the cdl64/xdl64 files else of used? And which driver are you using?

Have you updated Win 10 to 2004?
If not, please deactivate all the Octane licenses, then upgrade Win 10 to 2004, thanks.

what do you mean by deactivating? I got simple studio license. And even i'll do that - what will it change? Looks like the problem is relating to c4d or smth

Deactivating basically means to close C4D to deactivate the licenses, or they will be blocked after Win 10 update, and you will have to visit your OctaneLive page to unlock them, or contact
[email protected] if you have already finished the unlocks.
What makes the difference, is not the C4D version, but a correct installation of stable Nvidia driver.
Please, download and run GPU-Z:

And share a screenshot from the Graphics Card tabs, for all the available GPUs, thanks.
