Cinema 4D S22 Octane not working anymore

Does Octane not work with CINEMA 4D S22.118?
C4D starting up keeps looping and does not work

You need 2020.1.4 for full S22 support.
Which version have you installed?
Please note that you need to remove from the c4doctane folder, all the unnecessary c4doctane-RXX.cdl64/xdlib files not related with S22 specific versions, and leave only one c4doctane-S22.xdlib file in Program files/Maxon/C4D R22/plugins/c4doctane directory.
Please have a look at the installation video for C4D R20 on how to install in the Preferences/plugins directory, it works also for R22:

I followed your instructions and after deleting the unnecessary .xdl64 files everything works again!!
