both vdb files have the same settings and density, however i can see the bounding boxes/containers where they overlap.
they also seem to multiply each others density. actually.

sure, here is the scene in question.
there is a vdb on the ground - the mist, and the puff of clouds where the character emerges.

the line that appears seems to be where the two volumes finish overlapping.

I cant seem to recreate the artifact in your image. Could you share your vdb orbx with me?
