Hi folks,

may I ask for some help with the AI Up-Sampler? It simply doesn't seem to work, no matter if I activate it in Camera Tag and/or Octane Settings (using 2020.1 RC7). With 2/2 or 4/4 up-sampling, "on completion" activated and deactivated I always get a pretty blurry image, obviously the lower res scaled up to my render res. Is there anything else I have to activate or to consider?

btw, the current c4d manual seems to describe older settings from version 2019.1 which are slightly different in 2020.1

thanks for the reply. I attached a screenshot showing the camera setting, Octane Live Viewer and Octane Settings. The resolution should be Full HD and as you can see, it's pretty low res in Live Viewer. In addition, a sceenshot of the kernel settings is attached as well.

AI Upsampling is designed to obtain fast previews, especially with animations, with an increment of 4x in speed with 2x2 Upsampling, and 8x with 4x4 Upsampling.
Since it works similar to AI Denoiser, better to always enable the On Completion option, to avoid to increase the rendering time.
Then you only need to wait the end of the rendering to see the final result.
Here is the result at 92% with 2x2 AI Upsampling: And here is at 100%: But here is the result at full resolution with AI Denoiser Volume instead: ciao Beppe

Well, I'm facing another strange problem...

I opened my project on my 2nd workstation, and as soon as I'm checking the AI upsampling, things are going quite weird, as you can see...
