I have this strange shadow only render pop up once in a while, I have no idea why. There is only 1 camera in the scene, so this should not be happening.

do you have AI Upsampling enabled?
If yes, this happens when the render view has arbitrary dimensions, try to use a defined dimension like 1024x1024 or similar, with AI Upsampling enabled.

AI Upsampling enabled was turned on - I turned it off. Render size is 1024 x 1024. Same strange render results.
