Falloff Map and Volume

Hi,

Is there a way to get the falloff map working with the Volume Medium of a Volume Item ?

I would like to drive absorption and scattering according to POV. I tried the setup below but it doesn't give the expected result, it is just remapping the Scattering according to the VDB file density.

Mmm, I don’t think it could work... try with a gradient with OSL Camera Projection :roll:

Thanks for the feedback Beppe.

I've set up the shading as below, but I don't know if it is correct :

- Gradient doesn't offer any projection input so I've used a Baking Texture node to get one
- Gradient seems to need another gradient input to actually output a gradient ? It doesn't make sense at all but I have to look for the manual.

The setup seems to work but it maps the gradient in screen space, not according to the surface normal / point of view difference.
