C4D Surface Nodes unable to reconnect after disconnect

When applying a C4D surface Node such as Tiles, Cyclone, Marble, etc... to any given channel it works fine. However, if you try and disconnect in and reconnect it to a different channel or add nodes to it it will not reconnect

Please, avoid to use c4d shaders in your Octane materials, and use Octane nodes, or OSL nodes instead, with the exception of Noise and Gradient c4d shaders.
From v2020.1-RC2, there is a new option for auto converting c4d Noise and Gradient shaders into OSL Octane nodes.
