Blend Textures with vertex colors (Material Node Editor)

Can somebody pls. help me setting up this network?
I would like to blend Textures or materials with the help of vertex colors. I am using also an additional texture map mask to multiply blend the Vertex colors. This is the Node plan, but as it is now it doesn`t working. I`m also using the OSL Nodes from Rohan Shashikant Dalvi to blend between the imputs and to get access to the RGB chanels.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
I'm not sure if the vertex attributes are available from OSL. Can you please send me a scene as simple as possible including one of these OSL nodes to try to reproduce this problem here?
Thanks,

Thx for the replay. Here is a small scene with the blend material. I figured it out how to blend and paint with the vertex colors between the tree textures and it works very well.
The only thing I couldn`t get to work is to use the additional blended Vertexcolor + a maskmap channel and use it as mask instead of using only a vertex Channel.
The Houdini Mix node seems not be able to read the osl blend node.

I'll take a look at it ASAP, but to be honest, this sounds to me like a limitation on the Octane core side. I hope to know more soon.
Thanks,

Sorry, I'm not sure to understand the workflow of your shader, but I've been doing some tests here using a simple scene and OSL shader and the vertex attribute node seems to work fine with OSL, as you can see in the attached scene and image.
Hope it helps,
