C4d native gradients crashing the app

hey i have a problem with octane 2019.1.5-R3 on c4d, anytime I use a c4d gradiant on a texture or a sky, it crashes. it's just weird because i built many many scenes with gradiants using this version before this started happening. anyone know anything about that?
