They are already up
https://developer.nvidia.com/gtc/2020/video/s22153
It's an Nvidia conference so you probably shouldn't expect much talk about Octane X on AMD GPUs

Other than that, I think Jules did a marvelous job going through everything and explaining it. I am really happy he did a full 1:30h instead of a condensed version because that way we can get a glimpse into what the team is working on at large - So basically what they are kicking around for potentially future releases. I am however pretty sure a lot of folks are still going to take the "What's next" part of the video out of context and sort of as a 100% reliable roadmap which I think is a mistake. I mean, even Corona folks are having "issues" with publishing their tentative roadmaps so ...
But yeah, I'd like to thank Jules for the presentation, it was a fun one. I felt like this was the most thorough presentation he gave so far (minus the no AMD talk, heh) and I would truly like to see more of these "longer" format talks. They help me understand the current state of the product as the team sees it and also what the team currently sort of deems as a "priority" moving forward. They are really informative, so again, thank you Jules!
On a bit of a side note, I'm a big fan of updating the Camera Imager yet I'm slightly confused where in the talk it was implied that the Imager is going to get updated - Maybe I'm mixing up terms here but the Imager nodes are basically texture loaders and the Camera Imager itself is a completely different thing?

That was a really good presentation.
The embergen news was a very welcome surprise.
Looking forward to the all the various things otoy is working on , especially the Universal camera updates and the scatter node. Adding a bunch a utility maps is also a great idea.

Rohan

Impressive presentation with a very ambitious development plan. Only concern is rushing to many new features without having the proper quality and stability.
The two major holes at this time are:
1. No Vulkan development plan which means, no AMD graphics possible in the Windows desktop. This allows still for Nvidia to have a monopoly with no competition and higher prices in the Windows platform.
2. No Android development, only iPhone.

There’s no rush to new features. 2020.2 has almost none, it’s entire stability, memory and perf for that release (+RTX ooc). After that new features will be coming.

I'd like to +1 this just for competitiveness sake

On the topic of 2020.2 though, I am really excited to see its going to be a stability / performance focused release. Kudos!

Do you guys plan on adding some basic features to Octane Standalone, such as a timeline, keyframes, etc. so we could actually use Standalone as a scene assembly software?

See sculptron roadmap - which will be a module that works in standalone and all dcc tools eventually
