camera pathing

Hi Radiance and all

By any chance will you add a 360 degree flight path for batch processing renders. The idea is a to make multi view image set for 3d online products without the need of real 3d itself.

A simple cicular path/ how many images and distance from axis outer radius setting with batch file location with incrementing namesoffileXX.jpg/png etc would do it. (say that ten times)

or/and add a 360 degree horizontel and vertical with nameoffile-H-xx.jpg/png for horizontel and nameoffile-V-xx.jpg/png for vertical batch renders.

It would allow for a complete at any angle view of any scene quickly and easily for web use.

Hope this is added within octane as a node.

You are basically asking for a QTVR node, right ?
It must be easy to implement, its just multiple camera angles merged :)

I think we will definately add some turntable and other simple animation keying in the UI when time comes,
but after i'm done implementing the often asked for v1.0 features ;)

no panoramic mode (but that would be cool to for virtual 3d tours)

But yes key frame animation for objects would be welcomed.

Would you allow a x, y, z format you can type in. Just so people can position the camera where they want. Or can this be done right now.

thanks

yeah, just look at the pos, target and up float3 nodes connected to the camera.
You can dial in a camera position there.
