I don't think there is a way to yet, could be wrong here, but Have searched through all the nodes looking for something... I would assume that the ability to do so will probably be there soon.

Hey,

Currently it's not possible.
We need to add new nodes to make complex procedurals.

The point of turbulence is to provide a floating point texture, eg black and white.
This would then control a mapping node, which maps it to spectra,
or through a colorband distributin node that maps it to a colourband.

It won't take too long before we have these nodes.

That would be very useful. I'm building scene with mars rover so I was thinking to texture surface of Mars with turbulence procedural.

P.S. Is there any way of scaling the turbulence?

No this is to be done with a 'transform' node that i'm adding this week.
