Octane node editor slow and un-reliable

Hi,
I've upgraded to R21 and have installed the Octane V4 plug-in and I have the V4 stand alone. Since moving from R20 to R21 and moving to V4 I've found the node editor really hard to use. Nodes are hard / impossible to select when i click on them. I close the editor and re-open then I can select nodes for a minute or so and then the problem starts again. Sometimes the nodes moves around as if I'm holding my short key for moving the window contents when I am not.
Any help appreciated...

Hi,
open the scene, then go to c4doctane Settings/Others tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes:

Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer, or until crash, and share the c4doctanelog.txt file that you find in c4doctane directory, or in the path specified in Settings/Others panel, thanks.

Please, also download and run GPU-Z:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
And share a screenshot from the Graphics Card tab, for all the available Nvidia GPUs, thanks:

Sure, I'll do this tomorrow AM when I'm back int front of my machine. However, the node editor is not causing crashes, it's just very difficult to use. When i click on nodes they don't respond and when I use my mouse buttons for scale in on window etc, and then release these mouse buttons, the window continues to scale with the buttons released. It's as if it's seriously lagging...

I am running:
2 x 1080 Ti
1 x 2080 RTX
on a Ryzen thread ripper 1900x with AS Rock x399 motherboard.
I'll send specs as you ask tomorrow.

Hi,
please, upgrade to v4.05-R7, you can find the latest stable version by visiting your personal Downloads area:
https://render.otoy.com/account/download_archive.php
You need to select your purchased version from the Select Software pop up:

Note that you are having issues with one material (Metal_box2):

Thanks Beppe that seems to have solved it for now. The update window had me believe I was on the latest version. Apparently not so!

Thanks for your help,

Simon
