Image Output folder in preferences.

Hello, I spoke about that in some topics, but I think that a feature request is necessary:

There is currently no folder in Octane preferences for rendered images.

There are 3 folders : Project path (for ocs), Mesh Path (For Mtl and obj) and Texture path.

All these files can be seen as Input files, as they are used to render. On the opposite, Rendered images are Output files, but currently we have to save them in the Project file, or to type manually an other path each time we save an image.

As an ocs scene requires a specific Mtl and an obj to load, Project path and Mesh Path don't really require to be separated imho. Instead, a dedicated file for Output images is really necessary, because currently if I dont type a path each time I render an image, this image falls into my Project folders whith Blend files and ocs.

Yes I wouldn't mind that, even though the current way doesn't bother me. We should be able to specify this path relatively, because it is different for each project.

When rendering a big scene in high resolution (8192x4096) a render can take 6 days ! So I save an image each time I check the machine, and often it is at night when I wake up just a minute with eyes half open, and typing the path each time is tedious.

For my own, as I copy all images in a specific folder when the project is closed, only one path for all Output images is not a problem. What I don't like is to see them spread in the folder where are all my project files.

People have different worklfows, that's why the program must be as flexible as possible. All input & output paths should be writable in both absolute & relative ways. Not only the system / resource paths, but also paths (to image files) in nodes should be saved in both ways - to make the scene file more robust and the project move-able.

I completely agree !

As a quick solution, you can maybe work with a batchscript, which moves the images to your desired location.

I'm hopeless at programming, and I don't even know how to write a single line of code.

Added to that I have many images other than renders (textures linked to Blender projects) in my project folder that must stay in.
