OctaneRender 2020 for Poser [OBSOLETE]

ive installed the new poser12 version and octane wont load at all no menu ect to start it get this msg

Hi - there is an issue with Poser 12 in that the python UI is not yet available, so the Octane plugin will not run. Renderosity are aware of the bug, so you will need to wait for it to be resolved before I can do a Poser 12 build.

How does one "UN-Install" the Demo version? I have Poser11 and thought that I would try the demo before committing to the full update install (was in hospital all this time and now back to work). And of course, with MY luck, it fails to run properly or even start a render... nothing shows in the screen.. So I thinks to myself, no probs, just .. oh wait.. I can't find the 'uninstall' button to set up my system back to how it was before installing the "demo" version...

Is someone out there kind enough to help this poor soul get his system back to normal again before I break something else?!

In Windows Start menu right click and choose Uninstall.
But you could also just run P11 which i think has not been overwritten.

Thanks... However, after uninstalling the 2020 version, I now have no "Octane" to run in Render menu selection in Poser 11. Before doing so, I am guessing that I now have to install the previous version of Octane that I had on before? I need to get back to work on a project and don't want to go another step backwards if not required..

Both the Octane 4 and Octane 2020 versions of the plugin should run on Poser 11. If they don't, it is most likely your Nvidia driver is not up to date.

It's been a while since I used poser and now I've upgraded to a 3090 I thought it best to test the plugin first before I upgrade from v4.
Installed all the demo versions for 2020 and only the 2020.1.5.104 detected the card correctly.
I loaded a scene and hit the open viewport and just get a blank viewport.

When I check the log this is what I have.

OctaneRender Enterprise 2020.1.5 (8010500)

ERROR: Detected the demo version of the plugin but the commercial version of octane.dll.
ERROR: Detected octane.dll version does not match the plugin version.

I uninstalled all previous versions I had just in case it was a problem with the commercial v4 I had installed but I still get the same error.

Hi - it looks like I messed up the installer. I have reverted the DEMO installer link to the previous build, which works - so I suggest trying version 2020.1.5.103 from the top of this thread.
