I'm getting quite regular crashes when rendering to the picture viewer with c4d r20, OSX and Octane 2019.1.4.

It happens right at the end of the rendering process, last 1%

any ideas?

I've noticed a pattern. If I open c4d and just render to the picture viewer using Octane, I don't get the crash. If I open c4d then use the Octane live viewer, then render to picture viewer, I get the crash.

No ideas with this information

What kind of crash? How about logs and crash reports? What troubleshooting have you already done?

getting at least 10 crashes a day - c4d bug report:

So I now have a repeatable crash. Every time I create a composite material and add an image node to use as a mask, when I import the image, Octane crashes c4d. I've trashed the c4d prefs, but can't stop it happening. I'm in the middle of a deadline and losing it with these bugs!

How do I trash the Octane prefs? It's now crashing when I try to look at the render log, click on button, endless beachball, have to force quit.

I have gone back to 4.05 r7 and it's like I've bought a new computer, fluid, fast and so far stable.

Mmm, sounds like an incorrect installation of v2019.1.4 to me.
Here it is rock solid under 10.13.6, with both R20, and R21.
Please, next time, share both complete bugreport.txt and c4doctanelog.txt, thanks.
