Octane wont start

Octane does nothing when I click on the icon.
I have the latest nVidia drivers form nVidia and the CUDA version from your recommendations 3.2.16 (althoug I have also tried v4)
If I try to drag the icon into a terminal window i get:
"errror while loading shared libraries: libcudart.so.3: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory"
looks CUDA related.

Hi,
Did you also install the NVIDIA CUDA 3.2 toolkit? If not, here is the download link:

i download Octane Render Testing Pre-Release Pre23 v4... but after install and run ...request octanelive user Id and octanelive pass.....
what ID& pass?
my ID and pass use this forum ? (error by this)

hey hesamg59, it asks for authentication because that is actually a previous commercial release of the software. Where did you download it from? If you are interested to test Octane, you should download the official release demo from the Octane Render forums. Or better yet, buy a license for the current release...
