Hi, thanks for the new version. When I go to the Window menu and select OctaneDB, blender crashes and pops. No error message even though I start Blender in a shell, the shell pops too.

I just realized that this is the Enterprise version and that might be causing my issues. Is the Prime version coming out as well?

Hi grimm,
Could you please let me know which platform did you use in the crash cases? And about the reproduce steps? Is it "Click the OctaneDB in the top menu"? Thanks.
Cheers,

Hi DrawFun,
It was the system I have in my sig, Linux Mint 19.2. All I did to cause it to crash was to start OctaneServer, start Blender with the plugin, open the Window menu and select "OctaneDB". It only happened one time, after that OctaneServer started asking for me to authenticate the license, which didn't work. Hope that helps?

Hello grimm,
Thanks for your reply. It looks like 20.6 may crash when the license is not activated. We will get it fixed in the next version.
Please ensure the license is activated before using OctaneDB.
You can activate the license from "Property panel-Octane Server-Activation state". Or OctaneBlender will activate the license automatically in the following cases
-start a render task(viewport or final render)
-open a scene
Cheers,
