I came across this artist that makes procedural textures in octane for c4d
https://www.artstation.com/andreylebrov/store
As I don't have C4D I cant dissect them, but im wondering if these are able to be converted to Lightwave? Are they using procedurals for displacement?

They could be converted, but I'm afraid that by hand, and always if they are not using some C4D specific features, like its noise nodes. If you have C4D, you could also export the materials to LiveDB/LocalDB and import them into LightWave, but encapsulated inside the LiveDB material node, never converted to LightWave native nodes.
Thanks,

Could this be done using the demo version?

Hmm, I don't think so. I think that the materials exporting is disabled in the demo version.
Thanks,
