A. Windows 10 Pro
B. 4 x GeForce GTX Titan Black
C. 64GB Ram
D. Nvidia driver version: 26.21.14.3648
E. OctaneRender Standalone version: 2019.1.2
F. OctaneRender plugin version, 2019.1.2-R4
G. Cinema 4D R20

Hi,
I am experiencing very poor performance when using the Scattering Medium with a Universal Material in Octane 2019.1.2. This does not occur in Octane Standalone.

I have a scene with only one character whose skin material is using subsurface scattering. My computer freezes/performs very slowly and sometimes goes to Render Failure. I have attached my Log.

It's not just when the Live Viewer is open: If I tweak the settings in the material I have to wait a couple minutes before I can change another parameter. I think perhaps it's because it's rendering the preview thumbnail for the Material and in the Viewport?

I am not able to share the scene here, but I can share it in a private message if needed.

Thank you.

Also What's this numbers for driver? 26.21.14.3648
I don't know these, be sure you have tried to use NVIDIA STUDIO drivers, not GAME ready driver.

Also It's not possible to have different behavior between Standalone vs. Plugin if you use same versions. Only different between two that's to have material previews.
Can you share a c4d scene also standalone scene for this scenario? Also some visual explanation how to reproduce it.
