Light pass mark issue

Hello,
let's say I have 1000 objects in the scene. Many of them have Octane ObjectTag because of various reasons. Suddenly I decide I want to apply light pass mark to a group of objects. I cannot just put the desired objects into one Null, put ObjectTag on the Null and apply the light pass mark because of all those random Octane ObjectTags scattered on those objects which have (by default) set light pass mark option to Disable.
So does that mean I have to go through EVERY single ObjectTag and make sure it's adjusted properly? Or am I missing some easy way to set light pass marks in a more efficient way? In a way where it wouldn't collide with existing ObjectTags?
Thanks for any kind of help!
edit: What strikes me as odd is that Octane ObjectTag contains all these properties inside itself. It would be way easier to have standalone Octane Light Pass Mark Tag.
