Transparency render issues after save/reload

Hello, apologies if this post is in the incorrect place, I am new to Octane Render 2019 Standalone.

I searched the forum for this issue, and found a similar issue from 2015, however the solution appeared to apply to a much earlier version of Octane.

When importing and an OBJ from DAZ, everything renders fine. If I save the file in Octane's native format, and then reload it, many of the materials (appears to be the ones with transparency) do not render properly, so eyelashes, cloth and hair render as solid colors.

The post from 2015 indicated a solution was to right click on the material in the scene outliner and reload maps, while that option no longer appears to be there, I have reloaded the images for both diffuse and opacity in the node inspector, however that did not address the issue.

I also noticed that the opacity alpha image appears as an all white box in the opacity material preview. If I attempt to manually reload the alpha image, the original JPG that was used cannot be reloaded (greyed out in the select file box), and even if I convert the original JPG to a PNG, and then load it in manually, it still displays as a all white box in the opacity material preview.

Any help is greatly appreciated, or if anyone can point me to post on this topic, that would be great.

Hi,
since Jpg does not store Alpha channel, like PNG does, you need to change the node type to Grayscale Image, and load the jpg again.
