Tonemapping & Post Effects

Hey everybody,

So a couple of years ago I remember hearing about an initiative that would bring more sophisticated tonemapping settings into Octane. I'm talking pretty much about the stuff that Corona already has (Contrast, Filmic settings, Magenta / Cyan tints...) and what Redshift succesfully implemented not so long ago with its "PostFX". It'd be also cool to have some sort of sharpening control in the camera imager for lookdev :)

If I recall correctly there was a fairly big list of things on the list that Octane developers posted but I haven't heard of the thing since.

Any ideas whether we are expecting any short term improvements in this particular area?

At one point a couple years ago they posted that it was coming out in the next build....then...crickets.
edit ah, here it is: https://home.otoy.com/octanerender-3-an ... ap-update/

Ha, well now I'm really confused. So the ICEfx was meant more for shaders at first but it can be applied to the "VFB" as well?

Man would it be nice if a developer came by right now and cleared everything up :) Thanks for the links though! Right now I'd be ecstatic if we'd get a simple contrast slider in the camera imager :)
