Hey there, I've been using Octane for C4D in my refurb Mac Pro Tower, which has a GTX Titan Black. A friend has offered me an 8G Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition at a friendly price - can anyone confirm that I could successfully use this in a dual GPU setup for Octane rendering? Many thanks!

Not without a lot of despair.
You will need extra power, as in a unit that fits in cd bay.
You will need extra power cabling.
And you will most likely have to run with the side cover removed because of heat issues.
