content browser material preset support including previews

i've learned that currently the best way to store octane materials is to use octane's own local db of live db. i would prefer to use cinema's preset system in content browser for different reasons: future compatibility, flexibility, you can drag and drop a group of materials and actually the local db workflow needs you to 'download' the single materials from your hd not fun if you want to use a bunch of materials for a project.

apparently, the browser preset system at least in R20 already works just fine for most octane materials (apparently mix materials have issues), but it cannot create a preview, because octane seems not to be rendering it. also textures seem not to be handled at all.

please full support of c4d's native system for octane materials. or if this is not an option because of SDK limitations, implement a multi material drag and drop to and from live db window.

thank you very much

Support for mixed materials that's not possible. New blend material is a replacement for my opinion. And blend material is renamed as composite and natively available since 2019.1 versions. Composite material will have what you need.

thanks for reply! i am never using it but have some commercial presets as mixed materials which i am using from time to time - but i could live with this limitation... but does it mean texture and preview support (probably preview is not workingbecause of missing textures?) in content browser will be fixed?
