Hello ! I have a month wanting to install octane render and more than 20 videos that I have seen and I can not install it, when reading more comments I see that many users have the same thing, does it have a solution? I followed each tutorial step by step and I can't open it in 4D cinema

Hi,
firstly you need to update your Maxon C4D to the latest build, (R16.050, R17.053, R18.057, R19.053, R20.057), or the plugin will not be correctly loaded, please go to c4d menu Help/Check for updates.
Then copy the uncompressed c4doctane folder in Program files/Maxon/C4D RXX/plugin directory.
And then, remove from the c4doctane folder, all the unnecessary c4doctane-RXX.cdl64 files not related with RXX specific version, and leave only one c4doctane-RXX.cdl64/xdlib file in Program files/Maxon/C4D RXX/plugin/c4doctane directory.

Please, also download and install the Standalone application (not the zipped version), since it changes some Windows registry optimized for GPU rendering.

I have done all these things and none of them worked!! This is really stressful, ive moved 3 computers this past year and ON EVERY computer it took a lot of attempts to make C4D read Octane. Now i moved on a new one and im hoping it wont take me 2 days!

Any help please? I watched the youtube, did it, installed it in every folder you suggested, nothing is working!

It's very simply, doesn't take more than some minutes. Read install notes for requirements.
You need latest C4D and latest Nvidia drivers as mentioned.
