Hey hows everything
I just got my new computer weeks ago
and it crashes while rendering
while rendering in Live viewer after about 10min ,700 cuda error comes up (some times 715 error)
while rendering in Picture viewer after about 5 frames render, c4d crashes with plugin error message with no octane log
these crashes happens all the time. and had one watchdog blue screen
Tried Octane benchmark with both gpus there was an error (forgot the error message but if needed ill test again and list it)
Tried single gpu bench there was an error too with both
but is it possible to have two faulty GPUs?
if I render my crashing scene in another computer(dual 1080ti) it renders fine
so I dont think its a scene thing

Looked up for solutions and tried everything I can do
but still having crashes

I tried all versions of graphics drivers. using DDU,
changed octane version,
changed TDRDelay time to 60sec,
MSI_util check box,
formatting windows and install everything clean again,
changing card slots,
Still crashes

Please Help

Jay

error 700 is about issues hardware related. Decrease gpu frequency for testing. Also check your mainboard and bios for posts about Octane issues. I might be wrong but remember some posts for about issues these kind of hardwares.

Hey there
Thanks for the reply
My bios was already latest so I tried decreasing gpu frequency
Than errors and crashes decreased!
Still having errors but glad that something worked

My GPU was overclocked by default for some reason
default boost clock was 1545mhz but it was running on 1900mhz
so I underclocked and made it run under 1545
and than much less crashes but decreasing more than 1545mhz doesnt make any changes.

So is there a way to work completely crash free?

Thanks again
