Same Desktop Multiple operating Systems?

Hi I like to use both windows and Linux and have duel boot system Linux more on the side of 3d Modelling and then windows for 2D and video editing, is it allowed/possible to have octane for both Linux and Windows based on it being used on the same computer. Also I have now registered the Octane Renderer on the windows side of things but now thinking about it, it would have probably been best installed on Linux.

So if the above is not allowed could I uninstall and then re-install on linux instead?

I hope the above makes sense, I apologise if this has already been covered.

Regards

Steven

It should work with the same machine, on Windows and Linux.
But I have the problem, that I have Linux on a removable disk which is not seen under Windows.
I think this is the backgound why Octane is thinking, I´m running Octane on different machines.

To solve it, I must deactivate my license und wait 30min. Then I can use Octane on the other OS.
This nerved, because I want to develop my Soft2Octane exporter for Linux and Windows.
It will be solved, abstrax can help me with that, but first i must solve an other issue on Linux ;)
