Hello
i m working with Lw 2019.03 and lates Octane 4.04 plugin but Im having stange issues with the IPR which I didn't noticed somedays ago.
I have ot say that yesterday I have reinstalled windows 10 and updated lightwave and the Octane plugin, (previously everything was fine)

The problem I have is that when I open the IPR it stays often on hold for some seconds without any notice about loadinggeometry etc etc.
Then after a while it shows just the environment (no objects loaded).
If then I press reload everything works..

The scene Im working is full of instances and lot of geometry but In the past I have made scenes heavier than this without any issue like this, maybe it took a bit for Ipr to load everything but at the end it was showing everything..
now I have to do this in 2 step.first load nothing than reload...

What could be the cause?

Kind regards

Hi,

Sorry, I'm not sure what could be the problem. I can understand that the scene extraction could be huge if the scene is complex with a lot of instances, especially if the motion blur is enabled, but in the end, the IPR rendering should be fine. Could you send me a scene with this problem to try to reproduce this problem here?

Thanks,
-Juanjo

Ok I will if you send me again your email.
I also have a new issue that I have never seen before...
Its an old scene that worked fine before installing 4.04 (before it was 4) and a fresh install of windows 10...

I've been trying to reproduce your first problem here, but without luck so far. Here the IPR always load and render the scene without problems. I wonder if the problem could be related to the drivers, but it is hard to say. Here I'm working with the .419 drivers without problems.

Thanks,
