...It lets you do crazy stuff, just for the hell of it, and just because you can. It doesn't feel like CGI, it feels like wandering around a set with a camera in your hand, looking for best angles and that special glint of light on a surface. I haven't enjoyed 3d as much as this since Siggraph in '89! Just a few quick test renders using off-the shelf models I had lying around - apart from the Evermotion exterior all render times c. 1 minute (ONE minute!) on a GTX580.

i hear you mate... after 15 years of intensive 3Ding i was gonna explode because of the issues...we all know...

OCTANE eliminated all of them... (added a few ones temporarily )

and i feel like i started this thing yesterday... .

I have my own film company as well (for shooting music videos-tv serials etc) i COULDNT shoot anything since i started to work with octane... I hate working with people on the set ..budgets.. ... bulbs.. electric cables...lazy crew...

In Octane ...my beloved -reality- no crew needed... LENS! give me anything i want.. DOF ..you bet... Lights...come on give me those Kino Flos.. dozens of them...

Man i never ever thought a software can alter someone life's that much... And the best thing is .. IT has JUST started ! wow

Today we really try to do something extreme few hours earlier we got a job and they DO NOT believe we can deliver 2 minutes video in 24 hours... We will see about that ...soon...

(All i wish is to having an Octane camera moves up and down and go forward and backward...and diagonal ...in next release for covering basic Archviz camera angles without even timeline..)*
