Stuck in Applying Mesh Smoother Loop when Updating Geometry

Whenever I attempt to update the geometry in a scene that contains a figure wearing an item of clothing with mesh smoothing enabled OCDS gets stuck with a looping "Applying Mesh Smoother" message appearing at the bottom of the Daz Studio window.

I can stop this by pausing the Octane Render Viewport, or disabling live geometry updates, however then smoothing and collision updates aren't applied to the clothing.

This started happening a few days ago, and I'm at a loss as to what could be causing it. I'd disabled all my Daz Studio libraries, and uninstalled all recent Daz Connect content incase the cause was a new purchase, however this does not seem to fix it.

Any insight or advice would be appreciated.

Have you tried Reload->Rebuild Scene?

Thanks for the feedback. This works for smoothing and collision updates, but only if Interactive Mode is turned on in the smoothing settings of the clothing.

I'm more interested in fixing what's causing the mesh smoothing loops when OCDS is updating geometry than trying to work around it though.

I haven't had much time to do testing over the last few days, but it seems to be happening with clothing for G8F and G3 figures, both male and female, but not G2.

Ok, I fixed the Applying Mesh Smoother loop by uninstalling Octane plus OCDS, deleting all the Octane and OCDS directories and then re-installing.

Thanks. In this case you could have probably just deleted the OctaneRender_settings.oczdb file in NOTE 1 at viewtopic.php?f=44&t=71080

Thanks
