Plug in error

I've been working with octane for the past 4 years.
i was hoping that by version 4. these kind of errors would stop.
it would happen when in live preview.
it would happen after a long render, sometimes after only one action.
it would happen while doing something "too fast" in live preview
sometimes a scene would run ok for a week of working
then it would give this error, out of nowhere, nothing had changed and i have to start removing parts that didn't cause any problem before...
this is really frustrating, a lot of my work is on big scenes with detailed machinery, i optimize the hell out of everything and still that error shows up and crashes the scene.
there's no specific scene to look at as i feel this is very sporadic.
it happens in cinema 4d r18-19-20
all of octane versions through the years, now i''m using 'octane 4
comp specs:
Intel Xeon E5-2680 V3 2.50GHZ
64BG RAM
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980Ti x2
thank you
