I'm using Octane 4.04 on Cinema 4D R19 and I'm encountering an issue with the node editor. It seems when I open up C4d and Octane, I'm able to access the node editor once or twice, but after that, when I go to the editor, the entire program refuses to let me interact with anything. The program doesn't freeze, but it won't let me hit any buttons or exit any windows. This forces me to force quit c4d and reopen it. Whereby, the process repeats itself. It all works fine if I just use the window Cinema 4D normally provides for materials. Any idea of how to fix this issue?

Try the issue again. But keep all log options are enabled. Then post c4doctanelog.txt here.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the log doesn't seem to show anything once the freeze happens. Again, nothing seems to be locking up in the program. I can move windows around, but nothing can be interacted with and my yet my computer says its not frozen. Downgrading from 4.04 to 4.01.1-R2 fixes the issue. Versions above that seem to not work as far as I can tell.

It's not what I wish to see. Go to settings/others, find and activate all log options. Try to produce same issue, and send me c4doctanelog.txt.

Whoops sorry for the confusion. I enabled all output log options and here is the resulting file.

Is it happening on a specific scene or any scenes? What happens if you disable previews for Nodes?
And what's up with this parameter? Checked or unchecked?

Disabling node previews seems to fix the issue. This also happens for all projects and that box is checked. So that fixes the issue, but is there a way to have this enabled and the issue resolved? If not, no problem.

You should keep it "DISABLED" for OSX. There's a problem with latest SDK's and OSX otherwise.

Freezes anyways with suggested settings. While changing material parameter, dragging windows, closing windows etc. No such issues in Standalone or Blender plugin.
