transmission and specular reflection

Hi,
I tried to make a material that is translucent and reflective at the same time.
This kind of material could be used for tree leaves for instance.
So I took the universal material and set the metallic reflection to zero.
But I encountered something I don't understand.
When the dielectric IOR is set to one, a plane looks the same from both sides.
When I increase the IOR, suddenly the plane that has it's polygons facing towards the camera, looks completely different.
This change only happens when the surface texture has dark areas.
I attached a scene with a backlit situation.
There are two planes with the same texture. One is rotated 180 degrees so that the frontside of the polygons are facing the camera.
When the IOR is one, both planes look the same. As soon as you increase the IOR you'll see that the left plane changes.
There are two textures. One red circle on a black surface and a red circle on a white surface.
When you use the texture with the white surface the plane looks the same from both sides.
Is this logical, or an error?
Does it mean that I can use a reflective material only on one side?
Arjo.
