Octane + Cinema 4D Render instances

Hey everyone,
I have following problems when using Octane with Cinema 4Ds render instances:

1. Say I have a box and make a render instance of it. Both render perfectly fine with Octane.

2. Now I group the box and it's render instance inside a Null-object. Still rendering fine of course.

3. Now I make a render instace of this particular Null-object. One should expect to get 4 boxes in total.

4. I only have 3 boxes in total. The Null-object still contains the original box and it's render instance, so that's fine. But the render instance of the whole Null-object only seems to recognize the original box-geometry inside said Null-object but not the other render instance of the box.

It does work though if one of the instances is a "regular" instance instead of a "render" instance.

How can I get Octane to render everything despite "instancing another instance"?

Tried the same scene with Corona and the native C4D renderers (standard/physical) and it worked perfectly (=rendering all boxes as one should expect).
