just to signal to all of you that the new driver nvidia (4.18 something) causes, after my experience today, the failure of the graphics card in octane 4.1.
that said, it is now a bit of time that I miss this forum and now I find the material library even more disordered of my teenage son"s room.
Would it be possible, obviously asking in the best possible way, that someone in the staff decides to take the problem into their own hands, looking for a good time to put some order in that mess?

yep I'm having the same problem. Can't render anything which worked like a breeze until this morning (before the update). After updating the nvidia driver the log is giving me the following error

"CUDA error 999 on device 0: unknown error
-> failed to link file
device 0: failed to load OSL shader code:
error : Multiple definition of 'cuSptStatistics' in 'cuda_texturenode', first defined in 'snippets_internal'
device 0: failed to compile module 0"

Quick help would be MUCH appreciated.

I'm on Win8 w/ Octane 4.02 (1080Ti + 980Ti)

dont worry, acareltv , the only thing that you have to do is to roll back to the previous driver.
try to unistall the one on with an uninstaller app to be sure to remove all of it.
go to the nvidia driver page and look for the archived drivers, then, for the one which fit your card spec.
