Incredibly annoying forum settings!

Hi,
I've been using this forum almost daily for the fast months or so. Almost everything I type inside the search area i get:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words"
PLEASE, Can someone check the forum settings to make this less strict? After retyping fifteen times It's causing me to eat my shoes and stand om my head. Very Frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

dude! you ARE the oracle, why the fruit you need a search function? you already know everything.....
yeap, I know what you mean, there is some words that are used all the time, like pmc, pt, that if you are new you might not know yet, and search would bring no results, I'm guessing someone (hint, hint) should do a nice glosary of the most used words and their meaning.
I'll throw one:
zombies: gouls that roam the forum after a Refractive Team Member slips a new update is coming

Let me tell you a secret!
ssssssstttt
but even the old greek oracles from ancient times used the "octane forum" to gain knowledge and rule their world....
I know that as with all low-molecular weight hydrocarbons, 'octane' and its isomers are very flammable, but this search function was making me very flammable from time to time.

I will have look at it on Monday, but I'm not sure if we can do anything about it.
Cheers,

Ok, I had a look at the current settings. The minimum word length is 3 characters and the common word threshold is 5%. So everything should be fine. Could you give me an example that was causing problems?
Thanks,
Marcus
