Shadow Catcher creates double shadow

I'm reporting this as a bug cause I doubt this is the desired functionality.

I have a scene with a Daylight System mixed with an HDRI as primary environment and a another white Texture environment set to Visible Environment.

The plane has a material with Shadow Catcher on so I get the infinite floor effect, the issue is that it's showing me a shadow from the HDR and another shadow from the sun. I need/want to keep the shadow only from the sun because I can customize the direction, hardness, etc. And I want to keep the fill light + reflections from the HDR.

Unchecking shadow catcher gives the normal functionality where the only shadow is coming from the Sun. If there's a way around this that I don't know about and that doesn't require some complex compositing later I would really appreciate knowing, otherwise seeing this resolved in future versions would be great.

Hi,
do you mind to share an example scene with assets?
In my opinion you should be able to use the Daylight node with only one Environment node.

Hi Bepeg4d,

Of course, here's the file. Let me know what you find.

In this instance I was able to keep the shadow from the sun and delete the HDRI and Visible Sky altogether, but I know for sure at some point somebody is going to need to do this exact same setup to be able to get reflections from the HDRI, an infinite floor and a shadow from a daylight or lights.
