This is mainly for Juanjo, but if anyone has a workaround that would be really handy.

Got a few projects coming up that need a lot of fur/hair but I'm running into Memory issues when trying to render lots of fur, so the results aren't coming out as well as I'd like.

So, I was wondering if there is the possibility of adding fur/volumetrics to the whole Out of Core memory option.

Currently (rough guess at the number here), anything above about 9 million fibers causes LW to have something of a fit when trying to render. :-/

I'm not sure if the Octane curves can go out of the core, probably not currently, but if you want to send me an example scene with this complex hair setup I could take a look at it. I wonder how LightWave itself manages this large amount of hair data ...
