CD test

Small test to get the reflections on the backside of a cd looking right. Is there anything am missing. rendered with Pathtracing 1 minute.

you're missing the glossy layer (clear plastic), but otherwise the effects is quite nice.

I made a glossy material and added a slight purple looking colour like you would on some discs. I loaded the rainbow colour map in the filmwidth property and basically just played with settings to get the result you see in the render.

If you look at maxwell render there are options like angle and anistrophy. Not sure if they are relevent to creating this type of material properly. Would love to see it octane.
