Hi all,

I just built a new machine and reinstalled c4d , octane standalone and octanec4d plug-in. All is well, but the plug-in doesn't appear in cinema4d.
I installed the whole folder in the plug-ins folder as mentioned, but to no avail..
I have a perpetual license, same as with c4d, and there was no fuss regarding existing licenses on the old machine, as it has been wiped completely.
Also, the standalone works fine, so i dont think theres an issue with that.

Any suggestions what i'm missing here?

You need to read min. required version numbers of C4D in install notes.

Hi Aoktar,
I've installed octane before, and went through all the install notes to be sure, and deleted the c4d version i don' t need (im on R17), but it doesn't work.. so weird.

i needed to update my c4d, as it was a clean install, silly me ...
