Octane V 4.00 crashes on closing C4D

Hi everyone,
I couldn't find a recent forum post about this issue, so I thought I'd ask:
I recently installed the V4.00 plugin for C4D. It runs fine but crashes every time I close down Cinema.
This wouldn't be as big a deal, but when I have multiple open projects and not all of them saved to the latest alteration, all progress is lost.
Sure, I'll save all my files before closing C4D, not a problem, but it would still be great to get rid of this problem.
Any way to troubleshoot what's causing this?
I use C4D 19.068 and Octane v4.00
