Pixelated Edges on emission and bright parts

Hi all,

I have a problem with the edges of my renders and I've searched the internet and forums and tried a lot of different settings but can't figure out the problem.

The edges of the bright parts of the render look pixelated. (See attached Images)

My render settings are 1920x1080 with 300dpi.
I also save the render with a denoised beauty pass.

Any solutions for this? Thanks for any help or advice in advance!

Cheers,
Tim

I get pixelated edges if I turn on straight alpha in standart "save" menu, or if I turn off "Keep environment" setting in octane settings, and btw I usually have just pure black environment as "Visible environment", it's a habit at this point.

Thanks for responding! I thought it had something to do with those settings as well but unfortunately there is no difference on the edges..
I'm sure it is as simple as turning a checkbox on or off but still can't find the right one ;)

any other suggestions or ideas?

Filter size could also do that as far as I know, nothing else comes to my mind now. If you find the solution, please write about it here.

alright I found a solution for this.

I made the render 3x bigger in resolution ( so 5760x3240 pixels) and then reduced the size back to 1920x1080 in photoshop.
Now the edges are a lot sharper!

Render times are a bit longer now but at least there is a solution!

If there turns out to be an other fix for this please let me know!
