uninstall demo before commencing subscription?

Skimming through the manuals right now. I currently have a demo version of Octane running inC4D r19 - should I do a full uninstall of this prior to installing my subscription based Octane 4 in C4D r19 and 20?

Hi,
please remove any previous c4doctane folder from plugin directory, (even demo version) before installing a new version.
And always check to have the latest Maxon RXX build available, in c4d menu Help/Check for updates.
