I want to use create reference in MAYA to make an animated short film. I have make a scene and already set the materials and textures. When I want to let this scene reference to another file, however, the materials and textures won’t come with it. Is there anyway to let the materials and textures come together with the scene?

I use the latest release to do it. Finally the materials and textures come together with the scene, but the color is uncorrect. Both render parameters are the same. Is there anything else I dont have set yet?

Hi Arachne,

thank you!! You will need to disable the Maya default sRGB Gamma. To disable click on the blue Icon in the Render view or permanently from Maya Preferences settings.
Then attach an Octane Imager node from the render settings and try these settings
