Foreground Object Matte

I am working at 11517x1080, but some of the screen is occluded and doesn't need to be rendered. So I'd like Octane to ignore those pixels and speed up my rendering.

In C4D standard I can put this texture in the alpha of a Foreground object and get what I need.

Octane works with foreground object in the live view but not in the picture viewer. Also I cannot get opacity there either.

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

Be sure that alpha enabled in kernel.

Unfortunately that doesn't do it. It works as I expect with the C4D standard shader and the Forground object. Switching it to Octane and it won't work. I attached project file here.
