Hi everyone,

I want to render a short animation and the new denoiser feature would save me tons of time.

The denoiser is activated and set up in the imager settings but I cannot find where to activate the denoised beauty pass for the file output. There are several denoiser passes that can be checked (diffuse, reflection, emission ...), but not beauty.
However, I can select the DenoisedBeauty as the viewport render pass but how do I get Octane to write the denoised files as well?

Thanks a lot for your help ... maybe I'm blind.

If you select to view the Denoised Beauty pass in the Viewport, it should save that pass to the animation files.

thanks for your reply!
I have tried it that way and did a quick clean scene to test it again and it does only work when the "Export Render Passes as discrete files" option is disabled.
But then, I don't get any of the other activated passes ... only the denoised beauty.

BTW: all versions are the latest builds.

This is a bug in the current version which is fixed in the next release.

hey, sorry to dig up an old thread but this is on a similar topic.
I've just upgraded to Octane V4. How do I enable the denoiser? I do not see a "Denoised Beauty" pass.
I see deveral denoised passes (Diffuse, reflection, emission etc.) but no "denoised beauty". Where is it?

Enable the Denoiser in the Imager settings.
