Hi there.

I tried to install the latest build on extracted sdk zip plugin folder but Octane is not showing up on C4D R20.

Any directions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry what are you trying to do?

Either simply create a "Cinema 4D R20\plugins" subfolder like it was before R20 or copy the Octane plugin into the "plugins" folder in your "prefs" directory.

Putting Octane in the Prefs directory worked for me.

Cool. I will try to add it to the pref directory.

You haven't compiled the latest stable version of Octane on C4D R20.

You did for Octane 4 but not 3.

I add my Octane plug in folder to prefs but is not working.

Seth is talking to Aoktar I guess. You don't have to compile anything but there is a v3.08 for R20 and a v4 for R20.
You just have to find the right one

Did you put it in the right folder?

Its either something like

C:\programs\Maxon\Cinema 4D R20\plugins\OctaneRender-for-R20C4D-V3.08.3-R2-win (You have to create the plugins folder!)

or

C:\Users\_Your Name_\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\Cinema 4D R20_random code\plugins\OctaneRender-for-R20C4D-V3.08.3-R2-win

So is there no build for Mac 3.08.3 for R20?

It does not show up in my plugins with the R19 version.
