Hey.

Sometimes my preview renders are dark. Might be an issue with some wrong render pass being sent back to the viewport. It's happens very randomly. But when it happens, it happens several times in a row. Usually when I reload the scene it works again. Just add it to the bug list.

I have tried but failed to reproduce it. Could you please help me to check the environment power value if it happens again?
(Click "Render - Show Octane NodeGraph", then find the environment node, check its values)

It happened to me once too. It's hard to reproduce every time.

To me this happens quite regularly (about every 15 minutes). But this may be because of the way my scenes are set up. I usually save the project and restart Blender. This works, but after several instances of starting the Preview Render, the issue appears again. All in all this is a bit annoying and I hope the bug can be found soon. But like many of the bugs in the addon, it's a very random one and there does not seem to be any logic behind it.

Although I can't reproduce it on my end, we will introduce some fixes about environment updates in next 16.x(16.2.5). Hope it would help.
